Obverse:

  • Features a portrait of Millard Fillmore with inscriptions indicating order of the Presidency “13th President” and years served “1850-1853″.
  • Designed and sculpted by Don Everhart.

Reverse:

  • Features a rendition of the Statue of Liberty.
  • Designed and sculpted by Don Everhart.

Coin Details:

  • Circulation strikes and satin finish versions will be produced at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Proof versions will be produced at the San Francisco Mint.
  • Tentative circulation release date February 18, 2010.
  • Composed of a pure copper core with outer layers of manganese brass (77% copper, 12% zinc, 7% manganese, and 4% nickel).

Where to Find:

  • The Millard Fillmore Dollar will be issued for circulation from February 18, 2010.
  • The United States Mint will sell 25-coin rolls to collectors.
  • The collectible proof and uncirculated (satin finish) versions will be included in annual coin sets and special products offered by the United States Mint.
