Coin Details:
- Struck for circulation at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, with collectible uncirculated versions (stain finish) also produced. Collectible proof version will be produced at the San Francisco Mint.
- Tentative circulation release date of May 20, 2010.
- Composed of a core of pure copper with an outer layer of 77% copper, 12% zinc, 7% manganese, and 4% nickel.

History:
- Authorized by an Act of Congress Public Law 109-145, which was enacted on December 22, 2005.
- The Presidential Dollar series began in 2007, issuing four different dollar coins per year and featuring former Presidents in the order served.
- The designs for the 2010 Presidential Dollars were released by the US Mint on December 8, 2009.
